7 Fabulous Holiday Fashion Tips to Shine like a Star This Season

Hey dolls, I'm so sorry i haven't put up a new post in such a long time, it has been very hectic this past couple of weeks. Anyways am so glad to be back, I have lots of fabulous materials to post so you guys should brace yourselves. I have attended a whole lot of events this past couple of weeks and i realized lots of people get confused as regards what to wear to these events. Below are a few tips for the average fabulous girls like me. I hope you enjoy :) .

During the holiday season there are always so many parties and functions to attend, and it is always nice to have some holiday fashion tips so you can show up to any get-together looking amazing. When I think about holiday fashion, I think about basic pieces that I can mix and match together, but I want them to have just a little something extra. It is amazing how the right accessory or piece of clothing can make you look as bright as the holiday lights. I love getting together with people over the holidays, but because the season is so busy I like having some simple holiday fashion tips that will have me looking great in no time.

Lady Gaga has been accused of copying pop icon Madonna for years.Now it seems the Poker Face singer has moved on to a younger fashion trailblazer: Selena Gomez. While stepping out of her London hotel on Thursday, the singer sported a near exact replica of the Versace corset bra Selena wore to the VMA Awards just days earlier on August 25.The 27-year-old matched the black lace number with a shiny jet-black hook-studded pant suit that was fitted tightly to her thin frame.

Selena went a more feminine route by having the corset peep through an opened royal blue dress that had a thigh high slit. The Love You Like a Love Song darling classed up her ensemble with oversized green earrings, red nails and pointy heels.

A woman has turned her obsession with taxidermy into a fashionable venture - a shoe collection.

Divya Anantharaman, a 29-year-old Pratt Institute graduate originally from Miami, kills and stuffs birds, rodents and deer herself, and then fashions them into unique sculptures and wearable accessories. Ms Anantharaman is no stranger to fashion; after getting her degree in sculpture and fashion at Pratt, she worked as a freelance designer of shoes and accessories.

Now, the Brooklyn resident is launching a collection of taxidermy-themed footwear, including a pair of six-inch heels adorned with metallic silver scales, quartz crystals and real sparrows.

Prices for the ornate shoes, which are put together by a cobbler in London, are expected to be between $2,500 and $3,000.

Ms Anantharaman has designed the collection, set to launch this fall, with the help of a $10,000 prize she won through Lifetime's competition show, 24 Hour Catwalk.

She's also been featured as a 'dead animal addict' on TLC series My Strange Addiction.

Jaden and Willow Smith came on the red carpet like they were going to the movies and Selena Gomez? why in the world will you want to show your bustier to the world *corn-fused* .Rita Ora wore one of the most extravagant outfits of the night with a extremely long feathered train and plunging jeweled top but i dint like it, it was little too feathery for me and the train was too long. Lil Kim looks like a ghost of girlfriends past but she does look inda cute and Kathy Perry, love her jeweled grill but i hate the dress. and Miley's black number equals epic fail. Modern Family star Sarah Hyland's dress dint cut it for me at all. Ed Sheeran looks like he's homeless, too tacky for the red carpet. The boys of One direction dint even make an effort. A cherubic photo of baby North West, who was born on June 15, was unveiled on matriarch Kris Jenner's chat show on Friday during the rapper's highly publicized appearance.

Ok i must admit this is Lady Gaga's best look ever. i know to some people it might seem outrageous but for a Lady Gaga this is pretty toned down. I love the futuristic bomber jacket and the purple skirt, plus the belt on her waist synches the outfit in the middle. Perfect and properly put together, it doesn't seem over the top as it should be if not properly put together and the detail on the arm of the jacket!!!!!!! GORG!!!!. I must applaud her new stylist being that her former stylist resigned due to the fact that the musician liked to change like 10 times daily and you know when a Lady Gaga changes 10 times it means the stylist must have been over workeed. Hollywood's finest leading ladies led the way in pale and interesting dresses at Tinseltown's biggest night of the year, the Academy Awards, on Sunday.
Jennifer Lawrence, who took home the Best Actress award for Silver Linings Playbook, also triumphed in the style stakes in her strapless Dior Haute Couture gown.
The 22-year-old star highlighted her slim waist in the pretty gown, the train of which caused her to trip as she made her way up to collect her Academy Award.
But Jennifer wasn't the only star to opt for a pale hue on the red carpet at the ceremony, held at Dolby Theatre in LA.

After successfully selling out on her first round of tour tickets in the US, Beyoncé has released an extended promotional television ad for her UK fans to enjoy. In conjunction with London’s O2 Arena, customers received access to tickets 48 hours prior to the general release of tickets for the UK leg of The Mrs. Carter World Tour.
The Jonas Akerlund co-directed clip features a royal Beyonce surrounded by her crew of dancers, with snippets of the singer’s upcoming new music. The UK leg of her tour kicks off on April 26 in Birmingham and ends on May 12 in Dublin.

Personal tips: Perfect outfit

Today I'm not going to show you a new outfit. I'm going to tell you how to create it. I think one of the reasons I write this blog is to inspire other people and try to help them with their fashion issues. Who hasn't ever stood in front of the closet and start thinking... ''What do I wear today?''?

So, because of that, I really wanted to make a ''quick, easy and illustrated guide'' on ''HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT OUTFIT''. Here we go!

• You can mix&match clothes following some of this guidelines by event/season:
• By event: are you going for a walk to the park, or are you going to the cinema for a date? There are some specific pieces for each occasion. Sure you won't wear a pair of high heels for the park, and going to a date maybe requires a more formal dressing. 
•  By season: is it winter or summer? Is it cold outside? Is an awesome idea to put a beautiful, party gown if it's freezing outside and you are only going to do a quick photoshoot. But be careful if you don't want to catch cold! 
•  here's also an useful tip I use a lot: chose a main piece and build your outfit around it. It doesn't matter if it's a pair of shoes, a piece of jewelry or a bag. Pick one item, and try to mix clothes together so they don't attract as much attention as the main piece does.
•  Color-centrism: this is similar to the ''main piece tip''. Chose a principal color, and combine it with other pieces on neutral colors. I don't usually like to mix different shades of the same color. Remember: with bright colors, black and white for the win
• By mood: when picking my outfits before going out, I really enjoy switching on some music depending on my daily mood, and start looking around the closet and see what matches my humor. How to match your mood? Think about colors and patterns! Do you feel happy and fun today? Try on some bright colors. Feeling classy and serious? Black and white are a must!
• Rules were made to be broken. I consider myself as a very methodical girl, so I usually like to follow some rules even when matching my outfits (someone told me once, ''never wear more than five colors on the same outfit'', and since then, I've realized that this rule really works for me, so I never break it). However, sometimes is great to experiment and have fun with clothes too. Mix textures and patterns, combine jewelry.. ................................... Step 1: Start by creating a glowing complexion by mixing your favorite sheer foundation, like Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation, with a luminous one, like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Apply with a large foundation brush for smooth, even coverage.

Step 2: Softly define your cheeks with a sheer wash of bronzer so there’s some color and depth, but not so much that it competes with your eyes or lips. Try: Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact-Bronze.

Step 3: To get earthy metallic eyes, choose a neutral color eye shadow palette, like Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Using a soft shadow brush, apply a dark bronze shimmer, like Snake Bite, all over your upper eyelids. Then define your creases using a copper shimmer with silver microglitter, like Chopper. Define your upper and lower lash lines with a black matte shadow, like Blackout.

Step 4: Apply two coats of black-bronze mascara to your lashes to add volume and length with a softer look than traditional jet black. Try: YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking in Bronze Black.

Step 5: Skip lip liner, and apply a velvety orange-red lipstick. Try: Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro #401, which has a luminous matte formula.

Kim Kardashian has been out plenty since announcing her pregnancy,but we hadn’t yet seen Kim’s bump front and center at formal fashion shoot until very recently — and her new Du Jour cover shoot was the very first one.
Kim was photographed in Miami for Du Jour’s third issue, floating in a pool and looking radiant with minimal makeup. For those of you on bump watch, the softly lit photos don’t provide a great view. But Du Jour’s co-editor Keth Pollock assured Fashionista, “She was pregnant. I believe it was her first post pregnancy announcement shoot. She wasn’t really showing then.”
But this Bruce Weber-lensed shoot finds Kim unusually natural and candid. She even chatted about everyone’s favorite topic: her body. “I think because I have big boobs it could make me look heavier if I don’t, like, show off my waist or something, so I just have kind of learned to dress one way only,” she tells Du Jour about her form-fitting wardrobe. “Khloé can wear flowy, pretty things because she’s really tall. Kourtney is, like, really little. I’m just kind of in between, so it doesn’t really work.”
She also says “she does not wear flats, not ever, unless she’s on the treadmill,” which we’re pretty sure we already knew.
