She's transformed her style since she began dating Kanye West, with mixed results.
But Kim Kardashian chose what is debatedly her best outfit yet to celebrate her engagement to the hip hop star on Monday night.
The reality star dazzled in a feminine lilac and white Valentino number as she accepted the proposal on her birthday in front of friends and family at a stadium rented out for the occasion in San Francisco.

When fans could tear their eyes from the Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring on Kim's finger, worth an estimated $1.6m, they were treated to a gown covered in delicate beadwork.
The shift dress contoured her body yet remained demure with a high neckline, long sleeves and above the knee length.

The choice flattered Kim's post baby curves, skimming them without making her look frumpy. But it didn't come cheap - the dress is stocked by the upmarket Harrods store in London for a cool, £4,235, or just over $6,800 for American Kim.

At that price it is unlikely Kim's dress will sell out as quickly as Kate Middleton's engagement dress - a midnight blue Issa number that at £399 was cleared from shelves by her fans.

It is not known where Kim bought the dress, which is part of Valentino's fall 2013 line, and it is not yet available online. But with Kanye's fashion links and the couple's team of personal stylists on side, Kim has her pick of designs - and would have seen the gown when the pair attended Valentino's show at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
Of course, she is bound to have been unaware of the coming proposal ahead of time.
But with Kanye's infamous attention to detail he is sure to have had a hand in choosing the perfect outfit in which to celebrate their big night.

Kim is not the first celebrity to have been spotted in the dress, although she will perhaps be the last.Charlotte Ronson was spotted at the Brazil Foundation Gala in New York City in the design, dressing it up with black platform pumps and an ivory box clutch.

And French actress Lea Seydoux teamed it with silver Jimmy Choos at the Cannes Film Festival while promoting the lesbian romp Blue Is The Warmest Colour.
