'She is not a model with us...' High-street giant H&M confirm they are no longer working with Cara Delevingne

Her ethereal looks have helped her win lucrative modelling contracts with the likes of Burberry, Chanel and Zara.
But Cara Delevingne's current run of popularity on the catwalks of the world wasn’t enough to stop clothing chain H&M reportedly axing her following the emergence of pictures in which she is seen dropping a bag of white powder outside her London flat.
The high-street chain have confirmed that they are no longer working with the willowy model – who previously featured in a campaign for their 2011 Authentic Collection – and denied that she was originally recruited to be ’the face of H&M.’

‘She is not a model with us and I think there was a misunderstanding that she was the face of H&M,’ a spokeswoman told The Sun on Sunday, adding: ‘We just used her for the show.’
She also revealed that H&M had ‘no particular reason’ to use Delevingne’s services at any point in the foreseeable future.Back in May the high-street giant told the Daily Mail they would make a decision regarding their association with Delevingne - who regards Rihanna and Rita Ora amongst her closest friends - after reviewing the images for themselves.
She definitely looks drugged in this picture
‘We have a zero tolerance policy towards drugs, and this also forms part of our advertising policy,’ a spokesperson explained. ‘Our team will evaluate the evidence over the next few days. If the story is true, then we will take action.’
Delevingne was snapped dropping the clear plastic baggie while she searched for door keys outside her Belgravia home. The 20-year-old appears to laugh as the bag – containing a small amount of white powder – falls on the ground, before attempting to cover it with her foot

She found it hilarious but her friend was really edgy about it,’ one photographer later told The Sun. ‘Suddenly Cara dropped something and bent over to pick it up.Very discreetly, she put her foot on it and then rolled her handbag across so it looked like she was just kind of bending over. The friend kept saying, “Can you stop taking pictures?”

‘The friend definitely realised they were in trouble once that little packet had dropped on the ground.’
H&M’s apparent decision to sever their ties with Delevingne echoes a similar incident with supermodel Kate Moss in 2005.
The 39-year-old was dropped by H&M after she was photographed allegedly snorting cocaine with her boyfriend at the time, Babyshambles front-man Pete Doherty.
