Hollywood's finest leading ladies led the way in pale and interesting dresses at Tinseltown's biggest night of the year, the Academy Awards, on Sunday.
Jennifer Lawrence, who took home the Best Actress award for Silver Linings Playbook, also triumphed in the style stakes in her strapless Dior Haute Couture gown.
The 22-year-old star highlighted her slim waist in the pretty gown, the train of which caused her to trip as she made her way up to collect her Academy Award.
But Jennifer wasn't the only star to opt for a pale hue on the red carpet at the ceremony, held at Dolby Theatre in LA.

BEYONCÉ - O2 Priority Extended TV Ad

After successfully selling out on her first round of tour tickets in the US, Beyoncé has released an extended promotional television ad for her UK fans to enjoy. In conjunction with London’s O2 Arena, customers received access to tickets 48 hours prior to the general release of tickets for the UK leg of The Mrs. Carter World Tour.
The Jonas Akerlund co-directed clip features a royal Beyonce surrounded by her crew of dancers, with snippets of the singer’s upcoming new music. The UK leg of her tour kicks off on April 26 in Birmingham and ends on May 12 in Dublin.

Personal tips: Perfect outfit

Today I'm not going to show you a new outfit. I'm going to tell you how to create it. I think one of the reasons I write this blog is to inspire other people and try to help them with their fashion issues. Who hasn't ever stood in front of the closet and start thinking... ''What do I wear today?''?

So, because of that, I really wanted to make a ''quick, easy and illustrated guide'' on ''HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT OUTFIT''. Here we go!

• You can mix&match clothes following some of this guidelines by event/season:
• By event: are you going for a walk to the park, or are you going to the cinema for a date? There are some specific pieces for each occasion. Sure you won't wear a pair of high heels for the park, and going to a date maybe requires a more formal dressing. 
•  By season: is it winter or summer? Is it cold outside? Is an awesome idea to put a beautiful, party gown if it's freezing outside and you are only going to do a quick photoshoot. But be careful if you don't want to catch cold! 
•  here's also an useful tip I use a lot: chose a main piece and build your outfit around it. It doesn't matter if it's a pair of shoes, a piece of jewelry or a bag. Pick one item, and try to mix clothes together so they don't attract as much attention as the main piece does.
•  Color-centrism: this is similar to the ''main piece tip''. Chose a principal color, and combine it with other pieces on neutral colors. I don't usually like to mix different shades of the same color. Remember: with bright colors, black and white for the win
• By mood: when picking my outfits before going out, I really enjoy switching on some music depending on my daily mood, and start looking around the closet and see what matches my humor. How to match your mood? Think about colors and patterns! Do you feel happy and fun today? Try on some bright colors. Feeling classy and serious? Black and white are a must!
• Rules were made to be broken. I consider myself as a very methodical girl, so I usually like to follow some rules even when matching my outfits (someone told me once, ''never wear more than five colors on the same outfit'', and since then, I've realized that this rule really works for me, so I never break it). However, sometimes is great to experiment and have fun with clothes too. Mix textures and patterns, combine jewelry.. ................................... Do you have any tip when mixing and creating an outfit?

Rihanna's effortless beauty at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards red-carpet seems Halston-inspired to me—fresh, chic and classic . The look was also a big departure from Ri Ri’s usually edgy style. (How many women can go from an undercut to cascading waves and look equally stunning in both?) Heres how to create her sophisticated makeup.

Step 1: Start by creating a glowing complexion by mixing your favorite sheer foundation, like Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation, with a luminous one, like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Apply with a large foundation brush for smooth, even coverage.

Step 2: Softly define your cheeks with a sheer wash of bronzer so there’s some color and depth, but not so much that it competes with your eyes or lips. Try: Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact-Bronze.

Step 3: To get earthy metallic eyes, choose a neutral color eye shadow palette, like Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Using a soft shadow brush, apply a dark bronze shimmer, like Snake Bite, all over your upper eyelids. Then define your creases using a copper shimmer with silver microglitter, like Chopper. Define your upper and lower lash lines with a black matte shadow, like Blackout.

Step 4: Apply two coats of black-bronze mascara to your lashes to add volume and length with a softer look than traditional jet black. Try: YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking in Bronze Black.

Step 5: Skip lip liner, and apply a velvety orange-red lipstick. Try: Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro #401, which has a luminous matte formula.
